We have recently extended our range of packet Green Manures to include Alfalfa Luna, Buckwheat, Crimson Clover, Fenugreek, Lissetle, Mustard Kingston and White Mustard. However, our main product in this area is Mustard Seed.

As a guide, a new lawn, or bare areas on an existing lawn, requires about 35 to 50 grams per square metre (1-2 oz sq yd).
Rake the grass seed into the top-soil after sowing as the seed needs to be covered to aid germination and there will be less on display for the birds to eat.
Practise sowing the grass seed by sprinkling a handful of seed on a sheet of plastic, or similar.
Mid-September is the best time to sow grass seed because the soil is warm, which will aid germination, and the area will be naturally irrigated by the autumn rain.
Our normal range includes 6 varieties of Broad Beans, 8 varieties of French Beans, 6 varieties of Runner Beans and 10 varieties of Peas. However, as we publish the list before our supplier can confirm availability, we may not have all varieties available at all times
We believe that we stock the largest range of potatoes in the Milton Keynes area, typically 12 First Early, 10 Second Early and 13 Main Crop varieties and we know that our prices are unbeatable, for example in 2009 you would pay £2 for 2.5 kg (£1.25 for 1kg of Salad varieties) from our extensive range.
We offer both the Autumn and the Spring sown onions sets at the appropriate time of the year.
Bulbs are available for both Autumn and Spring planting, the varieties vary from year to year, so come down to see what we have available.
This is a catch-all term for all the other products we sell, from Multi-purpose compost, bamboo canes, plant pots, insecticides, weedkillers and fertilisers. Our range is second-to-none and we can be very competitive with prices especially with fertilisers as we buy in bulk and re-bag into smaller bags.
